Alicia is the Director of Public Relations at One Eight Oh. A Venice, Fla. native, she oversees the public relations and account management activities, including PR planning, media relations and social media management, for the agency’s clients.
Specializing in consumer public relations and media relations, Alicia brings over 11 years of experience to One Eight Oh and previously worked in the nonprofit and agency sectors. She has worked on various clients including ClosetMaid, Sotheby’s International Realty affiliates, Florida Prepaid College Board, Remington, Neal Communities and PGT Innovations, among others.
A graduate from the University of Florida, Alicia received her bachelor’s degree in public relations with a concentration in business administration. GO GATORS! She is on the board of the Rotary Futures College Resource Center and the Venice Symphony and a member of Designing Daughters of Sarasota. Alicia is a 2016 graduate of Leadership Sarasota County.
Alicia, who loves everything involving fashion, is a past contributor to Sarasota Magazine’s What I Wear to Work column (along with other fashion-inspired content) and a freelance writer for the shopping sections in Sarasota Magazine and Venice Magazine. She was also a previous contributor to the Observer’s This Week in Sarasota.
